KATHMANDU: Coca-Cola Nepal on Sunday launched its global integrated marketing campaign for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2012. The campaign features two television commercials, unique consumer contests and a host of consumer activations across malls and colleges supported by 360 degree activations. Various elements of this international marketing campaign will be rolled out over the next four weeks across the country. The campaign is based on the theme, ‘Let’s get Crazy’, which recognises the transformation that overcomes all football fans when it comes to supporting their football team, whether at the match itself or while watching the match on TV with friends. It captures the spirit and positive emotion of fans who paint their faces, sing, dance and get ‘CRAZY’ for football.

Max Media’s cycle

KATHMANDU: Max Media, to raise awareness on environment conservation, organised a cycle rally and tree plantation event to celebrate the World Environment Week on Saturday. The rally with the slogan ‘Go green save planet’ started at 6:00am from Max’s head office in Patan Dhoka, Chakupat and went through Mangalbazaar, Satdobato, Lubhu, Lamatar, and Lakure Bhanjyang. The company organised the plantation event at Lakure Bhanjyang and the rally headed towards Changunarayan, Koteshwor, Baneshwor, Maiti Ghar, Ratnapark and ended at Jamal.

Mega branchless in

KATHMANDU: Mega Bank Nepal launched its Branchless Banking Service in Bhalam, Kaski district on Saturday. The bank’s director Madan Acharya inaugurated the service amid a function, said a press note. “The bank with the slogan from ‘Halo to Hydro’ is focused on providing banking services to the rural population,” he said. Mega Bank has already introduced Branchless Banking Service in Sindhupalchowk, Rupandehi, Morang, Sarlahi, Chhatpipara and Parsa and has plans to start the service in Bhalam of Kaski, Narpani and Argatosh of Arghakhanchi, Shamshergunj of Banke, Chuprabazar of Dailekh, Dhunche and Chilime of Rasuwa, Nalang of Dhading and Thulosirubari of Sindhupalchok in the near future.
