KATHMANDU: Minister for Home Affairs Bhim Rawal on Wednesday expressed his deep concern over the misbehaviour of State Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives, Karima Begam with the Parsa CDO on Tuesday. After receiving a memorandum from the civil servant delegation, Rawal said it was disgraceful to find that a person in the post of minister carried out such an action. Rawal assured the civil servants that he would take initiatives for stern action against the minister and suggested that all the civil servants perform their tasks in a free and fair manner. The civil servants also warned of stern protests if the government fails to take action against Minister Begam.
Meanwhile, civil servants working in Singha Durbar on Wednesday morning staged an hour-long sit-in protest demanding stern action against the minister.
