Candle editorial to protest load shedding

TANAHUN: Setimadi daily newspaper, which is published from Damauli, has started to publish a candle editorial from Sunday.
A week-long campaign was started after load shedding affected newspaper publication. According to Editor Dambar Adhikari, the campaign was launched to protest load shedding.
Adhikari said newspapers will be published with a picture of candle atop the editorial column unless load shedding ends in the country.
News coordinator of Damauli FM Pradip Kafle said FM stations in Tanahun are compelled to stop news broadcast due to load shedding.
Four newspapers, one weekly and five radio stations of Tanahun are affected by load shedding.
