KATHMANDU: Nepal Cable Television Association has condemned the sixth amendment of Broadcasting Regulation alleging that the Ministry for Information and Communication made such amendment unilaterally without soliciting suggestion from any sides.
Handing over a memorandum letter to Nepali Congress party’s spokesperson Dilendra Badu on Monday, a delegation team of the association claimed that the amendment would have negative impact over the small scale TV cable operators scattered throughout the nation.
In response, spokesperson, also former Minister for Information and Communication Badu, assured that NC would take initiatives to resolve the problems after holding talks.
