The top leaders of major parties, including Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, are currently holding a meeting the CA chair's chamber in CA premises, Naya Baneshwor.
According to some Nepali Congress leaders, the Cabinet may announce fresh elections as discussed by the parties as one of the options to deal the situation following the CA dissolution.
One of the alternatives, suggested by the UCPN-Maoist, is declaration of the state of emergency to extend the CA's term by six more months.
