Locals said that no step has been taken to douse the fire.

KAILALI: A heavy fire has broken out in Janakalyan Community Forest at Baliya VDC in Kailali district.

Locals said that a large number of natural heritages, valuable medicinal herbs and trees have been destroyed in the fire. Locals said that no step has been taken to douse the fire.

Of the 2000 hectares of forest land, half of the forest has been destroyed by the fire.
