Bikers snatch Rs. 2.05 lakhs from trader

KATHMANDU: A group of motorcycle-borne robbers on Thursday looted Rs 1.8 lakh in cash along with a cheque of Rs 25,000 from the possession of Indian national Mahesh Joshi at Balkot in Bhaktapur.
Police said Joshi was robbed while he was returing from Kavre after selling goods in the district yesterday afternoon.
The looters who turned up on two Pulsar bikes with license plates obscured pushed him from the back and snatched away the cash and the cheque.
Police are conducting a manhunt for the culprits and investigating into the incident.
