BIRGUNJ: Chairman of the Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party, Saharat Singh Bhandari, has said election was the best alternative to remove current political and constitutional crises facing the country.
Speaking at a programme organised on the occasion of the Eid-ul-Fitra (Eid) here on Sunday, he said "People was the decisive power in democracy so that there was no alternative to go for fresh elections."
Saying that his party's main agenda was to build a discrimination free, equitable and prosperous Nepal characterised by equality and freedom, leader Bhandari stressed that Madhesi along with all classes, communities and regions should be granted equal rights and opportunities.
At the programme presided over by Chairperson of Ume Kusum Garh College Dr Kamrul Hoda, Consular General of India to Nepal Ashutosh Agrawal, Rijwan Ansari of CPN-UML and Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party District Coordinator Mahabir Sharma, among others highlighted various aspects of Muslim rights.
