NEPALGUNJ: Central Chairman of Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN), Raj Kumar Lekhi, has said the stakeholders agitating for federal state need to be aware of possible social discord while struggling for rights.
At a press meet organised here on Sunday, Chairman Lekhi said, "While struggling for one's rights, he/she should be equally aware of others' rights."
Federalism has been a must to the country, and constitution should be brought with the guarantee of identity for unity among Nepalis, he stressed.
He termed the agitation with the demands of undivided region at this time a plot to foil constitution writing.
Responding to a query, Chairman Lekhi said the contentious issues of the constitution should be settled through the Constituent Assembly because the three-party meetings would not be fruitful to this end
