Bardiya National park patrolling guards find 25 socket bombs

SURKHET : At least twenty-five socket bombs were discovered in Bardiya National Park.
News reports say, patrolling security guards at Bardiya National Park found the explosives at Ramghat, a village adjoining adjoining to the park.
According to Surendra Thapa, Nepal Army(NA) in-charge at the park, the picked-up socket bombs were probably hidden by the then Maoist insurgents during the ‘People’s War’.
The park is bordered with Ratna Highway (Nepalganj-Surkhet road).
