BANKE: The inmates passing their jail sentence in Banke prison house have staged sit-in demanding their amnesty.
The inmates have staged sit-in for a week putting their one-point demand of granting amnesty to them. They demanded that they be given general amnesty with the change in political system in the country, said coordinator of the Struggle Committee Govinda Belbase.
Currently, 338 inmates have been passing their jail term in the Banke prison house.
