KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi today expressed dissatisfaction over the Nepal Police’s investigation into the May 31 killing of Justice Rana Bahadur Bam.
The government needs to bring the guilty to book soon to send a message that members of the judiciary are safe under government security, said the chief justice at a programme at the apex court to mourn Bam’s demise. “The case is serious and sensitive. But investigators are yet to bring the culprits to justice,” said Regmi urging officials to step up efforts to nab Bam’s assassins. “I am confident police will leave no stone unturned to find the culprits,” Regmi. “The public suspect that the murder was meant to unleash terror in the judiciary. I assure you all that we will not sway from the path of justice.” He said the judiciary is committed to integrity, independence and competence.

It was a pathetic and lousy work from the investigator so far. It is not good enough that murderers and the people they took instructions from are still at large. I hope Nepal Police will do whatever it takes to find that disguting creatures who has spread terror by killing. What a coward!!! mike, Australia
