Artists extend helping hands

KATHMANDU: Artist duo Ramesh KC and Nabin Kumar Shrestha donated a sum of Rs 150,000 to the recent flood and landslide victims of the western districts of Nepal on November 16.

At a press meet, the artist duo handed over the cheque to Bhakta Khawas, Treasurer General of Nepal Red Cross Society.

The amount donated is a part of their sales from a joint exhibition, Unity for Charity held from October 23-27 at the Mithila Yain Art Gallery, Thamel.

Pratima Pande, Director of Kathmandu Valley Preservation Trust, who had inaugurated the joint exhibition earlier was also present at the programme.
