KATHMANDU: The Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) consists a few of the best trekking tracks in Nepal. One of such track is Nayapul to Poon hill track, providing views unmatched by any other track. To unravel its beauty the Vth Semester students of BBA-TT from Apex College were taken trekking giving them an up-close experience to behold its beauty. The tour was organised by the VIIth Semester students of BBA-TT of Apex College.
The tour started on February 22 where the students were taken to Birethanti from Kathmandu through Nayapul. On February 23, the students reached Ghorepani through Birethanti to Ulleri, then Banthati. And early the next morning, they walked to Poon hill — their final destination for the view of sunrise, but the students were disappointed as the day turned out to be foggy.
However, the students forgot their disappointment as they started to enjoy the snowfall on that area. On the same day they returned to Pokhara. The tour ended on February 26 with a day in Pokhara.
Even though the trek was quite tiring for the students but the feeling of being close to nature was very refreshing and the views breathtaking. Moreover ACAP is a place which everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime. As St Augustine had said, “The world is a book, he who stays home only reads one page.”
