KATHMANDU: Anurag Import Export House, a subsidiary of Debenara Group, has been appointed as the official agent for marketing Indian Oil’s polymer products for Nepal. With the affiliation, Anurag Import Export House will now be marketing the various grades of Polypropylene and Polyethylene products manufactured by Indian Oil in the Nepali market under the brand Propel. According to the company, the polymer products will be dispatched from Indian Oil refinery situated in Panipat, Haryana, India.
Prime Life holds AGM
KATHMANDU: PrimeLife held its fourth AGM on Sunday at Rastriya Sabha Griha, Kathmandu. Kumar Keshar Bista and Govinda Prasad Bhattarai were elected as the directors from the public shareholders in the AGM, where chairman of the insurance company Rajendra Khetan presented the agenda. By the year 2070 BS, the company has targeted to increase its paid-up capital to Rs 500 million from existing 360 million. PrimeLife has collected Rs 159.9 million from 14,422 life insurance policies and Rs 156.2 million from 64,162 foreign employment insurance policies.
Chery car showroom
KATHMANDU: Kaya International Pvt Ltd, authorised dealer of Chery cars, have inaugurated its showroom at Jawalakhel on Tuesday. The models such as Tiggo, QQ3 and A1 are available in the showroom. The outlet will also sell spare parts and provide services such as car exchanges. Chery International supplies its cars to more than 80 nations across 6 continents and has assembly plants in 13 countries.
KATHMANDU: Vaidya’s Organisation of Trade and Industries (VoITH), a sister concern of United Traders’ Syndicate, has conducted its second phase of traffic awareness programme on Sunday at Bagbazaar, Kathmandu. The event saw the participation from 61 drivers including that of public vehicles, garbage carriers, tourist bus, and private vehicles among others. VoITH had already conducted similar programme in Tinkune last month. United Traders’ Syndicate is the authorised dealer of Toyota Motors Corporation for Nepal market.
New Janata branch
KATHMANDU: Janata Bank has opened its new branch at Inaruwa in Sunsari on Friday. This is the tenth branch of the commercial bank that provides modern and computerised banking services. The 27th commercial bank of Nepal is providing banking services from its branches across Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dhunche, Birgunj, Chautara, Rautahat, Jhapa and Taplejung. The bank has planned to open four more branches in the present fiscal year
MEX holds third AGM
KATHMANDU: Mercantile Exchange Nepal (MEX-Nepal) has held its third AGM on Friday. The main objective of the AGM was to prepare the income statement and balance sheet and also to forecast the revenue and expenditure for the current fiscal year. The meeting projected income and expenditure to be Rs 15.5 million and 15 million. The board has also instructed to mainly focus on the firms and institutions outside valley. It also sought out new directions.
