Acharya objects UN claims

KATHMANDU: Constitution Committee chairman Nilambar Acharya informed that the committee will draw their attention to the report presented in the Security Council of UN to UNMIN about the working area of the Constitutional Committee in the meeting held at Singha Durbar on Sunday morning.


He said that the Constitution Committee had not interchanged the work schedule as claimed by the report dismissing it as a fake.


In the meeting NC general secretary and CA member Subash Chandra Nembang and CPN-UML chief secretary CP Mainali had demanded that justification should be sought from the UNMIN on this matter.


Meanwhile Acharya had submitted a draft on the likes and dislikes in his working area on the basis of the discussion among the members and wanted all the members to present a written proposal within 2 days.
