DHADING: Six persons were killed in separate accidents in various parts of Dhading in the last two days, police said.

Five persons were killed and one injured when a car en route to Kathmandu from Pokhara fell off the road into the Trishuli River near Krishnabhir on the Prithvi Highway in Dhading on yesterday night.

The deceased are: Krishna Duwadi, Rabindra Duwadi, Sanjeev Duwadi, Raj Kumar Shrestha and Ramesh Prasad Dhungana. Deepak Gurung, who was injured in the incident, has been taken to Kathmandu for treatment, said police

Similarly, Assistant Health Worker Krishna Aryal of Dhading District Hospital was killed after the bike he was riding on fell off the road in Baireni, Dhading, today. Seriously injured in the accident, Aryal died during treatment in Kathmandu. Dhading district prison chief Madan Kumar Shrestha, who was riding pillion, was also injured in the accident, and is now receiving treatment at Dhading District Hospital.
