KATHMANDU: Association of Nepalese Indigenous Nationalities’ Journalists (ANIJ) today condemned police attack on it central committee member, Manoj Gharti Magar.

Magar, also a reporter affiliated with Janadisha daily, was arrested by police and beaten for no apparent reason on Thursday night, said a press release issued by ANIJ today.

Deploring that attack on Magar, ANIJ general secretary Danda Gurung, in the press release, has demanded that the government probe the incident and bring the police personnel involved in the incident to book.
