7 Maoist cadres arrested in protest

GAUR: The cadres of the UCPN-Maoist greeted Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal with black flags when he visited his home town Rautahat on Friday morning for the tea reception on the occasion of the Tihar and the Chhat.

According to sources, seven Maoist cadres were arrested and Armed Police Force Inspector Chandra Bhahadur Tamang was injured in the incident. Security has been tightened and security personnel have been deployed following the incident.

The PM will return to Kathmandu today.
