5 armed men held in Solukhumbu

SALLERI: Police arrested five men armed with weapons in Sukepokhari, Solukhumbu on Friday.

According to the police, they have been identified as Rigji Sherpa, Pasang Sherpa and Phurba Rinji Sherpa of Ragani, Okhaldhunga, Jharul Kumar Rai of Khotang, Jaleshwori and Arun Gurung of Morang, Madhumalla.

The police recovered five revolvers, a miniature bomb, ten rounds of bullets, four mobile phones, donation bills and cash from them. Police claimed that they were involved in theft cases but theydenied the charges claiming to be activists of Kirat Janawadi Workers Party.
