BIRATNAGAR: Police have arrested three persons on the charge of their involvement in a rape case in Itahara, eastern part of Mornag district.

A police team of Area Police Office, Itahara, arrested Raj Kumar Majhi, 30, Netra Majhi, 27, and Santosh Majhi, 18, of Itahara-4 on the charge of attempting to rape a 30-year-old woman of Tharu community of Itahara-4.

Police arrested them based on a complaint lodged against the alleged.
