11-stated model can be reviewed: PM to House

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on Friday told the Legislature-Parliament that the understanding on 11 states made among the top three parties could be reviewed.
Addressing the House after it resumed this evening after an obstruction by the lawmakers loyal to Broader Madhesi Front, the prime minister said that the 11-state model was a basic model and it could be reviewed.
The House was scheduled for 3 pm but it was resumed after four and half hours this evening.
In a meeting with the top leaders of UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress and CPN-UML earlier today, the Madhesi leaders maintained that they have objection to the 11-state model.
