KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has extended a heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family of former president of the Nepal Bar Association and senior advocate Basudev Dhunghana who passed away at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) in the course of treatment on Friday.
Issuing a press release here in the capital NC expressed eternal peace to the departed soul and prayed for strength to the family.

KATHMANDU: Former President of Nepal Bar Association senior advocate Basudev Dhungana has passed away while undergoing treatment at TU Teaching Hospital at the wee hours of Friday. He was 82.
He was suffering from chronic bronchitis.
His body will be kept on the premises of NBA from 9-11 am for offering tributes, said NBA president Prem Bahadur Khadka.
He had retired as a member of the Judicial Council two years ago. He had served as an envoy to the United States during the nine-month government of the CPN-UML in 2051 BS. He had also become a law minister in 2025 BS.
NBA has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of late Dungana.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
