"Nepali Congress has sought clarification from president of Chitwan district Bikash Koirala in connection with Shiva Poudel's murder"

KATHMANDU: A Central Working Committee meeting of the Nepali Congress held at the party headquarters in Sanepa on Tuesday has sought clarification from president of Chitwan district Bikash Koirala in connection with Shiva Poudel’s murder as per Article 24 (10) and 43 of the Statute of the Nepali Congress.

The meeting has asked president Bikash Koirala to furnish the reasons within two months. The Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress had formed a committee to look into the murder case of the then president of Tarun Dal, Chitwan Shiva Paudel and submit a report on it.

The meeting held in Sanepa under the chairmanship of NC President Sushil Koirala had been participated by Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel, general secretaries Prakash Man Singh and Krishna Prasad Sitaula, among others.

The meeting has also condoled former president of Rupandeshi district Rafi Ahamad Kidwai who passed away yesterday in his own residence at the age of 90.
