BIRGUNJ: Leader of the Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Jitendra Sonal has said that all classes and communities in the country should get equal rights and opportunities.
Sonal stressed that Madhes-based parties should move ahead with unity for building a discrimination less, equitable and inclusive society by ending existing financial, social and cultural discriminations.
At a programme organised by the party here on Sunday, he said there should be constitutional guarantee of rights of people from Madhesi community, Dalits, as well as ethnic and marginalised people.
Similarly, leader of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF)-Loktantrik, Karima Begum stressed on the need for the Madhes-based political parties to move ahead by being united for the constitutional guarantee of rights of the Madhesi community, Dalits and marginalised, who have been remained backward from the mainstream of the state.
Other party leaders including Ishwor Dayal Mishra, Ramesh Patel, Yogendra Patel, among others, said the state should be sensitive for the promotion of rights of the Muslims.
