Machines provided to farmers

BIRGUNJ: The District Agricuture Office, Parsa has provided necessary machines to the farmers here in order to increse and promote the fishery.
Chief of the Office, and senior agronomist Bijay Kumar Shreebastav said the machines were provided to the farmers as per the fishery and pond construction programme.
Every fish farmer was provided three aerators and three plating machines used in the fish pond. The machines are used for providing oxygen and feed to the fish.
The market price of an aerator is Rs 53,000 and a plating machine costs Rs. 132,000.
Six farmers were provided the machines for the first round this time, according to assistant technician, Dayaram Harijan.
The Office has also provided grants to some farmers in the district.
