KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Secretary Dev Gurung on Monday made it clear that his party will take all the vehicles bearing the Indian registration number plates under control apart from those ferrying medical supplies and gas.

Addressing an interaction at the Reporters Club here in the capital today, he said that the two countries Nepal and India reached an agreement that they will not obstruct the vehicles within 10 km distance from the border.

Gurung informed that the protest was symbolic to spread awareness of nationality adding that the protest could take a massive outline if the government ignored their symbolic protest.

He went on to say that the incumbent government has not responded to them wisely and added they will not backtrack from this protest at any cost.
