KATHMANDU: Unidentified persons on a Pulsar motor bike snatched a gold chain of Namuna Bhandari (17) of Chabahil-based Sarswatinagar at around 6pm on Saturday.
A manhunt for the culprits is underway.

More than 1000 volunteers spread out from Jorpati to New Baneshwor and parts of Kotshwor to search for culprit who filched Namuna's chain. The search has now centered on two or three houses in Battisputali where the thief is said to frequent. All the volunteers are now massing in the old Baneshwor area where the thief tried to sell chain to tourist at Dwarika's. Namuna is said to be mulling going to the house herself to demand chain back. She is very happy one thousand people take time from their life to help. The goodness of Nepali people is on display despite the choors who live in the capitol.
