ITAHARI: Chairman of Indigenous Nationalities Madhesi Muslim Republican Alliance, Kishor Kumar Bishwas on Tuesday has claimed that conspiracies were hatched to shadow the ethnic harmony and federalism in the country.
Organising a press conference here today, he said the alliance is firm on ensuring press freedom and promulgating the new constitution with federalism.
Chairman Bishwas warned that three major political parties, the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF), and even the President should take the responsibility if the constitution was not promulgated as per the public desires.
He also demanded the government to take initiative to send back Indian Consular SD Mehta for his controversial remarks against the integrity of the country, tempted by the spirit of separating the single Nepal encouraging the communal violence in the country.
During the news conference, Chairman of the Khumbuwan Rastriya Morcha, RK Khumbu said the state restructuring should be made keeping the suppressed, Dalit, and backward class in the top priority.
On the occasion, Chairman of the Kochila Struggle Committee Biddyananda Rajbansi, Chairman of Dalit Republican Morcha Balram Rishidev, general secretary of the Socialist Party Shambhu Chaudhary among others stressed on promulgating constitution in the slated timeframe of the Constituent Assembly.
