SINDHULIMADHI: Twenty four days after Ram Bahadur Bamjan nicknamed as the Buddha Boy left Bara's Ratanpur-based Halkhoriya forest along with his followers, he has been found living at the Hwaredanda of Janakalyan Community Forest of Kamalamai Municipality in Sindhuli.

Darsan Limbu, Bamjan's disciple, said the Buddha Boy wanted to bring recognition to Nepal through Bodhi religion in the world. "Our guru is writing the Bodhi Religion he earned during his penance," he said. However, when journalists approached they were not welcomed at Bamjan's place today.

According to Limbu, Bamjan is scheduled to speak in a public prabachan programme in two months' time and at that time he would answer to all the questions.

Limbu went to say that Bamjan sat for penance from May 16, 2005 to May 16, 2011 without food. He complained that forest officials, contractors and timber smugglers had spread rumours about Bamjan in Bara. He dismissed the claims that the government had issued any arrest warrant to Bamjan.

In the past, Bamjan was drawn into many controversies for keeping two women captive, abducting his own family members and thrashing up neighbours among others.

Limbu urged journalists to take stock of the Bara jungle, where Bamjan used to live and bring out the reality. He said Bamjan's family had spread rumours against him after they failed to have the monopoly over the funds collected in Bamjan's name.

Bamjan has a white mare, one dog and one he-goat. "We do not know where the horse came from. But a foreigner gifted a he-goat to him,” Limbu said.

He said Bamjan is writing Bodhi religion in sambhota script and that would be translated into 17 languages including Nepali and English later.

When asked about holding a Slovak Marichi into captivity, Limbu said that she was a mentally disturbed woman. According to him, Marichi was kept in a room after she expressed her interest to sit for penance. "But, she attacked Bamjan later," he added.

Chairman Chhatra Ghising of Bodhi Shrawan Sangh, responsible for Bamjan's protection, urged the mediapersons not to give any negative press coverage.

"What a Buddha is allowed to do, an un-enlightened is not allowed to do." Marichi, stop defending Ram Bomjan by slandering the Buddha. Clearly, you have learnt NOTHING from your past experience. Visaka, Batu

"Can you make everything crystal clear as to what really happened and who is and who is not to blame?" (Roshan Lamicchane. I can make crystal clear only the small part concerning my person. I am explaining all concerning me on my website. If this editor allows, I can publish the name of my website here. Marichi, Slovakia

"Marichi, I don't understand whether you are supporting what Bamjan did to you or are you complaining about it." Nothing is black-and-white in life... If I support Bomjon, it does not mean I support Darshan Limbu. What a Buddha is allowed to do, an un-enlightened is not allowed to do. Marichi, Slovakia

What Marichi is experiencing now is called "Stockholm Syndrome." Visaka, Batu

Thank you Ms. Marichi, for clarifying the matter. It seems the press could do a better job reporting correctly. It certainly makes a big difference that you did not in fact attack this man. Seb Danieli, usa

Marichi, I don't understand whether you are supporting what Bamjan did to you or are you complaining about it. In the comments, I can see it clearly that Darshan Limbu lied about you being paranoid and you attacking Bamjan. I have been following all these news, and the comments that you and Jason from USA wrote concerning Bamjan. In one of the comments you applaud Bamjan for who he is and what he is doing, but in this comment it seems like you are portraying a negative picture of him. Can you make everything crystal clear as to what really happened and who is and who is not to blame? Thanking you, Roshan Lamichhane, Evansville, IN, USA

Dear Marichi, How can you continue saying a person who hold you in captivity with such cruelty, your guru? Whether you are suffering from stockholm syndrome and as a result you didn't denounce the case in the police and still you've some sympathy for him or YOU together with this "mysterious" boy and his gang are spreading a story in order to get the media coverage to become more famous. Nirmal Ghimire, Kathmandu

Darshan Subba Limbu lies: 1, I Marichi spent only about one week in the office house tied to an iron pillar, the rest of the three months spent in jungle. 2, I am not diagnosed mentally ill 3, I never attacked my Guru Dharma Sangha. It is quite difficult to attack anyone when you have many chains tying you to an iron pillar, or later, a tree in the jungle. If one wishes to lie, one should acquire higher IQ to use a little logic... Marichi, Slovakia
