‘UCPNM protests will end soon’

SUNSARI: When the main opposition party UCPN-Maoist is all set to paralyse the nation through its planned protest programmes, general secretary of ruling party, UML, Ishwor Pokharel claimed that their protest programmes would end within a few days.
As he sees no alternative to consensus, Pokharel speaking with reporters in Sunsari on Saturday further said that the present political imbroglio would end through high level political meetings. He also claimed that the budget for the fiscal year would be endorsed through the parliament and not through ordinance. He also opined that the environment for consensus could not be created if the UCPN-Maoist adopted the politics of conflicts. He further said that the government has left the door open for consensus.

Mr. Pokharel, You should be ashamed to say the protest programs will end in a few days. You have any idea what a day of protest costs to human incovenience, economy, country's image outside. Bloody no shame. Rajiv, bangalore
