‘Maoist led govt in offing’

JHAPA: The main three parties are on the brink of consensus, claimed UCPN-Maoist chairman Puspha Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on Wednesday.
The new government to be led by his party was due to form through either consensus or protests, said Dahal at Bharatpur Airport on his way to PLA cantontment in Chulachuli, Illam. However, talks among the parties were crucial to end the present political imbroglio, added Dahal. He also described the importance of protest programmes as a move to create a favourable political environment by pressurising the concerned bodies and downplayed the claims which said it would disrupt the environment for consensus.
