| Ex-Miss Nepals lunch with Miss Nepal '12 hopefuls |
2012-04-13 In the heightening fever among contestants to win the title, The Hidden Treasure organised a lunch for 17 contestants. They got to interact with former Miss Nepals, board members of The Hidden Treasure and the sponsors of the event on the occasion of New Year on April 13 at the International Club, Sanepa. “Today is Baishak 1, we couldn’t give them a holiday as the training is going on. So, making the day memorable, we came up with lunch idea as a get-together of the contestants with former Miss Nepals,” expressed Advisor of The Hidden Treasure, Subarna Chhetri. On a long table were seated the contestants, present and former Miss Nepals — Malina Joshi, Usha Khadgi, along with Chairperson of The Hidden Treasure, Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati, Chhetri and Choreographer Prashant Tamrakar among others where they enjoyed the food in a cheerful environment. “We didn’t have a lunch during my time. As time passes, the pageant is improving,” Khadgi shared expressing the lunch as an occasion where “the contestants get to know us. A few might not know us as they might have only seen us on TV. This informal and casual meet can build confidence in them as they feel our support”. Miss Nepal 2012 is going to take place at Hotel del Annapurna on May 6. Annapurna Post is the official media partner and THT Live is the voting partner. |
