2012-04-03 At the orientation, Chairperson of The Hidden Treasure Gopal Sundar Lal Kakshapati; Mangaing Director (MD) of The Hidden Treasure Girendra Man Rajbansi, Advisor of The Hidden Treasure Subarna Chhetri and cheorographer Rachana Gurung Sharma gave briefings to 23 contestants who will compete to win the title of Miss Nepal. Providing motivation to the contestants, first runner-up 2010, Sahana Bajracharya was at the venue to share her experience about her Miss Nepal journey. The contestants also gave brief introductions about themselves. “I was scared,” constestant Anjali Pradhanang said regarding cheorographer Gurung’s strictness during the orientation while Sabina Shrestha, another contestant’s first day of Miss Nepal experience was “good yet little nervous”. For Pradhanang “everything is good” as she has been selected and added, “I am only thinking about the crown.” Similarly, the crown is a dream for Shrestha who wants to enhance her confidence and personality during the journey. With contestants like them, Kakshapati shared they looked serious. According to him, the contestants are from “well educated as well as varied professional backgrounds”. He believes, the whole pageant is growing every year. Annapurna Post is the official print media partner and THT Live is the official voting partner. The grand finale will take place on May 6 at Hotel de l’Annapurna.
