1. Job Title: Sub Editor – Online Division (1)

Job Description:

- Edit, translate and report news items in a concise, organized and effective manner
- Transcribe stories from TV reports and make value additions
- Seek and keep track of current affairs and relevant news developments
- Make required follow ups with reporters for news coverage
- Upload stories from print edition, news, photos and videos to the website

Qualifications:
- Post graduate degree in English or Mass Communication
- At least 2 to 3 years of work experience in mainstream English media

Requirement/Skills:
- Should have excellent command over English
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, Quark Express and Adobe Acrobat
- Should be able to set priorities and balance a desire for perfection with the necessity to follow deadlines
- Should have knack on national and international affairs
- Willing to work in shifts and during unsociable hours
- Should be proactive with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team

 

2. Job Title: Trainee journalist – Online Division (1)

Job Description:

- To develop and follow news especially breaking news.
- Edit, translate and report news items in a concise, organized and effective manner
- Upload international news in different categories, photos, videos
- Co-ordinate within house reporters to get detailed information
- Upload stories from print edition, news, photos and videos to the website

Qualifications:
- Graduate degree in English or Mass Communication or Journalism
- Fresher with zeal to built their career in journalism may apply however prior experience in English news media will be given preference

Requirement/Skills:
- Should have excellent command over English
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop, Quark Express and Adobe Acrobat
- Good news sense of both national and international affairs
- Able to establish priorities and balance a desire for perfection with the necessity to follow deadlines
- Willing to work in shifts and during unsociable hours

3. Job Title: Executive - Finance (2)

Job description:
− Handle the reconciliation of bank book and financial statements such as debtors and creditors account.
− Responsible for maintaining day to day accounts.
− Handle cash and prepare financial vouchers.
− Prepare the reports for inventories.

Qualification:
− Minimum Bachelors Degree preferably in Management (Specialized on finance)
− Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in accounting field

Requirement/Skills:
− Working knowledge of computer application such as tally, microsoft excel and word is must
− Knowledge of VAT, TDS and other taxes is a must
− Should be familiar with billing of sales, credit note and debit note.
− Should have a positive learning attitude and the ability to work meticulously
